Frequently Asked Questions

Booking

How do I book a trip?

Browse trips on the site and get in touch via an inquiry or contact our team directly — a member of staff will confirm availability, collect traveler details, and set up your booking with a deposit.

What's your deposit and payment policy?

Nepal trips require a 30% deposit to confirm, with the remainder due on arrival in Kathmandu. Tibet, Bhutan and multi-country trips require a 40% deposit, with the balance due 45 days before departure.

Is travel insurance required?

Yes — valid travel insurance covering medical expenses, emergency evacuation and trip cancellation is compulsory for every traveler on every trip we run.

What's your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made more than 30 days before departure are eligible for a partial refund, minus a non-refundable deposit. Cancellations within 30 days of departure are non-refundable — see a trip's own page for its specific policy.

Trekking

What fitness level do I need for trekking?

It depends on the trip's difficulty grade, shown on every trip page — Easy trips suit most fitness levels, while Challenging and Strenuous treks involve consecutive long days at altitude and benefit from cardio training beforehand.

How do you handle altitude sickness?

Itineraries are built with gradual acclimatization days at key altitudes, guides are trained to recognize early symptoms, and descent is always the first response if symptoms don't improve with rest.
