Kathmandu → Pokhara → Jhinu Danda → Chhomrong → Dovan → Machhapuchhre Base Camp → Annapurna Base Camp → Bamboo → Jhinu Danda → Pokhara → Kathmandu.
A Himanshu Tours representative meets you at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfers you to your Kathmandu hotel, followed by a trip briefing and an evening Ganga aarti ceremony at Pashupatinath Temple.
A 6–7 hour drive (or a 30-minute flight) along the Trishuli and Marshyangdi rivers through local settlements to Nepal's lake city, arriving in the afternoon with the rest of the day free.
A 3-hour drive to Matque village near Jhinu Danda, then an easy, flat trail along the Modi Khola to Jhinu Danda (1,780m) followed by a steep climb to Chhomrong — the largest Gurung village in the district and the only gateway to Annapurna Base Camp.
Downhill to Chhomrong Khola, fed by the Hiunchuli glaciers, then a difficult climb to Sinuwa followed by an easy, flat trail to Bamboo (2,340m) for lunch before the final uphill stretch — thinly populated country from here on — into Dovan.
A dramatic alpine day through Deurali (3,230m), passing the historic Hinku Cave and exiting the tree line into the wide glacial Modi Khola valley, with close-up views of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) and Annapurna South.
Sunrise over Fishtail (6,990m) and Annapurna South (7,220m), then a short but intense climb — the difficulty coming mainly from thin air at altitude — into Annapurna Base Camp, a 360° amphitheatre of peaks across the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.
Sunrise over Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Annapurna I and Fishtail before breakfast and a long descent back down the valley to Bamboo.
Back through Sinuwa and Chhomrong to Jhinu Danda — with the option to soak in its natural hot springs, where the Modi Khola and Kyumun Khola meet — then a short hike to the road head and a 2–3 hour jeep drive back to Pokhara.
Return along the Prithvi Highway to Kathmandu (a domestic flight is available at extra cost).
A Himanshu Tours representative drops you at the airport around 3 hours before your scheduled flight.
