An overland pilgrimage circuit for travelers crossing from India at Raxaul, taking in Pokhara's lakeside, the sacred Muktinath temple complex in Mustang, and the Kathmandu Valley's heritage sites before returning to the border. A comfortable, low-walking itinerary built around road transfers and a short Jomsom flight.
Raxaul → Pokhara → Muktinath → Kathmandu → Raxaul.
Cross the border at Raxaul–Birgunj and continue by road to Pokhara — a long overland day.
Sarangkot sunrise over the Annapurna range, followed by Phewa Lake boating, Davis Falls and Gupteshwor Cave.
