The classic Everest Base Camp trek extended with an ascent of Lobuche East (6,119m), the second most popular climbing peak in the Khumbu after Island Peak. After reaching Base Camp and Kala Patthar via the standard route, the itinerary moves to Lobuche High Camp for a pre-dawn summit push involving fixed ropes and short rock steps, with a reserve day built in for weather.
Kathmandu → Lukla → Namche Bazaar → Tengboche → Dingboche → Lobuche → Everest Base Camp → Kala Patthar → Lobuche High Camp → Lobuche Peak Summit → Namche → Lukla → Kathmandu.
Airport pickup, hotel transfer and a trip briefing.
A short flight to Lukla, then an easy 4–5 hour walk down to Phakding.
A climb into Sagarmatha National Park to Namche Bazaar.
A rest day with an optional hike to Everest View Hotel.
An easy walk to Phunki, then a climb to Tengboche and its famous monastery.
Through forest and across the Imja River, into Dingboche's high fields.
A rest-day hike to the Chhukung valley (4,730m) for altitude adjustment.
Past the 1953 Everest expedition's old campsite and climbers' memorial cairns at Thukla.
On to Gorak Shep, then Everest Base Camp (5,316m) and back.
A pre-dawn climb to Kala Patthar (5,545m) for sunrise Everest views, then down to Lobuche.
A roughly 4-hour climb to the tented high camp, with a refresher on climbing gear en route.
A 2am start for the summit of Lobuche East (6,119m) to beat the afternoon wind, then a long descent to Thukla or Pheriche.
A built-in spare day in case of bad weather on the summit push.
A long descending day back to Namche Bazaar.
The final trekking day back to Lukla.
A morning flight back to Kathmandu.
Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward flight.
