The route follows the Langtang Khola from Syabrubesi past Langtang village — badly damaged in the 2015 earthquake and now rebuilding — to Kyanjin Gompa, with mountain views that include Langtang Lirung (7,246m) and an optional side trip to Tserko Ri.

A guided tour of Pashupatinath Temple, Swoyambhunath Stupa, Boudhanath Stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square.
A 7–8 hour drive along the Trishuli River to the trailhead village of Syabrubesi.
Along the Langtang Khola through rhododendron and oak forest, via Bamboo Village, to Lama Hotel.
Past waterfalls and Yak grazing pastures via Ghoda Tabela to Langtang village.
Past Nepal's largest Mani wall near Mundu village to the monastery and cheese factory at Kyanjin Gompa.
