A little-visited route through parts of Langtang National Park and the Annapurna Conservation Area, named for the ruby, zinc and copper deposits found in the Ganesh Himal region. With few lodges along the way, most nights are spent in homestays with the Tamang and Gurung communities, crossing the trek's high point at Pasang La Pass (3,842m) with views of Ganesh Himal and Manaslu.
Kathmandu → Syabru Besi → Gatlang → Somdang → Pasang La Pass → Tipling → Chalise → Darkha Gaun → Kathmandu.

A free day for shopping or exploring the valley's heritage sites, with a farewell dinner in the evening.
