A trek timed to Tengboche Monastery's Mani Rimdu festival — a 19-day Buddhist lunar-calendar celebration climaxing in three days of masked dances, fire ceremonies and offerings marking the victory of positive forces over evil. The route follows the standard Lukla–Namche–Tengboche trail to reach the monastery in time for the festival's final three days, with the option to extend toward Everest Base Camp and the Gokyo Lakes.
Kathmandu → Lukla → Phakding → Namche Bazaar → Tengboche (Mani Rimdu Festival) → Namche → Lukla → Kathmandu.
