Once the world's most celebrated trek, the Annapurna Circuit climbs from subtropical valleys through Gurung and Manangi villages and Tibetan-influenced highlands, crossing the 5,416m Thorong La Pass into the arid Mustang side of the range before descending to the pilgrimage town of Muktinath and flying out from Jomsom.
Kathmandu → Chyamje → Dharapani → Chame → Pisang → Manang → Yak Kharka → Thorong Phedi → Thorong La Pass → Muktinath → Jomsom → Pokhara → Kathmandu.
Met at Tribhuvan International Airport and transferred to the hotel, followed by a trip briefing.
An 8–10 hour drive via Besisahar, mostly off-road beyond the Lamjung district headquarters.
A tough 6–7 hour uphill walk along the Marsyangdi River, crossing a suspension bridge and resting at Tal along the way.
A 5–6 hour walk via Bagarchap, Danakyu and Timang — with views of the Manaslu range — to Chame, the Manang district headquarters.
A 4–5 hour riverside walk via Brantang's apple orchards and Dhikur Pokhari, with a visit to the ancient monastery in Upper Pisang.
A 4–5 hour walk through pine forest via Humde, with breathtaking sights of the Annapurnas, Tilicho Peak and Gangapurna.
A rest day to explore Manang's culture and landscape, with an optional visit to the Himalayan Rescue Association for altitude-sickness guidance.
A 4–5 hour climb via old Manang (Tenki Manang), with views of Annapurna, Gangapurna and Tilicho.
A 4–5 hour walk via Ledar to the base of Thorong Himal, with the option to push on to High Camp (4,900m) for an easier summit push the next morning.
The hardest and longest day of the trek: a pre-dawn 4–5 hour climb to the 5,416m Thorong La Pass along ancient trading routes, followed by a steep descent to the sacred Muktinath Temple.
A 5–6 hour downhill walk along the Kali Gandaki with views of the Annapurna and Tukuche ranges to the apple-growing town of Jomsom.
A short scenic morning flight back to Pokhara, with an afternoon free to explore Phewa Lake and its caves.
A 6–7 hour private vehicle transfer back to Kathmandu, with a farewell dinner and cultural dance in the evening.
A representative drops you at the airport 3 hours ahead of your scheduled flight.
